Like the rest of the range, it's fabricated to handle Australian weather conditions, taking on heat, humidity and everything in between.

Powder-coated Natural White, the finish is UV-resistant and maintenance-free. No rusting, no rotting, no repainting. Fabricated at the Top Screens workshop in Virginia, North Brisbane. Fully welded and installation-ready straight off the truck.

A guide rail is welded directly to the back of the top rail, so it's ready to pair with a standard sliding gate hardware kit from day one. Compatible with most sliding gate automation systems if you want to add a motor down the track.

Available in four heights to match your existing or proposed fence line. For a different colour, a custom width, or if you have a specific configuration in mind, get in touch for a quote.

A 4.0m gate covers a substantial opening, so getting the installation right matters. This gate is recommended for experienced fencing professionals and capable DIY installers who have a solid understanding of sliding gate systems. If you're new to gate installation, engage a fencing contractor or gate installation specialist before ordering.

A sliding gate hardware kit is required for installation. These are available separately from Top Screens. Given the span involved, make sure your posts, footings, and support structure are adequate for the gate size, site conditions, and any planned automation.

Measure carefully before ordering. All gates are fabricated to order and we cannot accept returns or offer refunds once fabrication has started.

Yes. The gate is motor-ready and compatible with most sliding gate automation systems. At 4.0m wide, it's worth confirming compatibility with your preferred automation supplier before purchasing a motor — just give them the gate dimensions and they can point you to the right unit.

What hardware do I need to install a 4.0m sliding gate?

A sliding block hardware kit is required. This includes the C-channel, sliding block, custom F-catcher, stopper, wheels and track. Hardware kits are available separately from Top Screens. For a gate this size, it's worth checking with us that you're ordering the right kit for the span before you commit.

What post size is recommended for a 4.0m gate?

A minimum 100x100mm post is a common starting point, but a 4.0m gate covers a substantial opening and the structural requirements deserve proper attention. Post size, footing depth and fixing method should be confirmed by your installer or fencing contractor based on your site conditions, wind exposure, soil type, and whether you're adding automation.
